Are you the type who backspaces all the way to a typo to correct it? Or the type who mouse-clicks into the misspelled word to correct it?
I dutifuly (backspace, backspace, backspace!) press Backspace until all the characters of the word are deleted. Actually, I press it and hold until it starts repeating :-D *you made me smile*

What characteristics do you value most in your friends?
Ability to listen. Ability to abstain from judgement and accepting me as I am.
You pretty much live in the moment, especially under current circumstances, but where do you see yourself in 5 years from today? What would you like to have accomplished? What goals would you like to have met?
I really can't make any plans. I live from day to day. I never know, for example, if I will be able to use the computer the next day. That's why I'm worried each evening. I hate being unable to read.
How many keys are on your key ring?
I don't remember. I'm far away from home right now and don't have the keys with me.

My Apple iPod Classic 80GB, silver. I can't live without it, have it on my person all day long and sometimes even sleep clutching it in my hand like a child.

First tentative, yet sweet (I'm shy ;-)) and then, wild and intense!

Name one thing you wish you could change about yourself.
I would fix my body which sadly so far fails to deliver enough happy-go-lucky neurohormones to fit my fancy. I like my mind, overally. Oh, OK - I would like to fear mathematics less and generally be better in it. And crave drugs a little less, which is connected to the first sentence in this answer. Go Nature!

Yes, I won a t-shirt with logo in a Magic: the Gathering competition :-D
What was your favorite childhood game?
Creating and telling each other endless stories about fantastic adventure aided by building things using Lego-like blocks and any other props.

Songwriter: day job. Hacker for the Secret Service: night job :-).

I don't know. It's all still top secret.
Suppose you are forced to spend 2 days without electricity. No online community, iPod battery running low and no way to recharge; what is your survival strategy?
I'm addicted to iPod, but I can live without if I must, for a while. I charge battery to maximum, turn off all unnecessary functionality to make it last longer, dim the screen to minimum; I find that such set-up iPod can last for me all day of playback! Besides that, I look for something offline to read, I love reading, not just from the screen, although the screen helps as I can adjust/zoom in fonts to help my ailing vision.
When you say 'dancing with fairies', what is it that you actually do or see or experience? Can you describe? Or is it just a metaphor?
It's a metaphor. Irish. It's hard to explain. Look it up ;-).
